We must examine every change to ACA since the beginning and dismantle/replace any change designed to weaken, not strengthen the healthcare available to families.
As a country, we can not in good conscience deny healthcare to families because they have poor, working poor, and/or middle class incomes. Doing so dishonors American ideals on our 250th birthday.
We cannot deny veterans the healthcare they were promised when they signed the blank check to Uncle Sam. VA healthcare isn’t an entitlement, it’s a sacred vow by all of us. If we break that promise to pinch a penny, it means that there is absolutely no promise that we won’t break for a buck.
And perhaps most importantly: The oligopolies in the healthcare industry have to be broken up to allow the free market to work again. Nowhere in the current system healthcare system, can either capitalism or socialism be found. Just a few getting richer and richer off the backs of many. No one should profit by one subsidiary creating profit for another subsidiary in a system funded by employers and taxpayers either directly or indirectly.

- Improve processing at ports of entry by expanding coordination capacity for migrant processing so the system is orderly and predictable.
- Modernize immigration agencies with better technology, staffing, and visa processing efficiency so decisions are fast and fair, and the rules are clear.
Border security starts with competence and capacity. Adam supports smart, targeted enforcement focused on traffickers, cartels, and organized criminal networks, not chaos that looks tough on TV but fails in practice.

OH15 cannot afford a representative who won’t take the lead in solving the SS funding crisis. A cut of 24% in benefits and abolishment of COLA is completely unacceptable. Hard Stop.
For 6 years we have had representation that either ignores the problem or tells us that there is a plan in Congress to fix this and they are working on it without saying who they are working with or even sharing a concept. Just a big black hole, sort of like the future for anyone without a pension or $500K+ in a retirement account.
I took the initiative to meet with a non-partisan group in Washington D.C. trying to fix the Social Security and Medicare trust fund as well as address the National Debt. How non-partisan? Former GOP Governors John Kasich and Mitt Romney are on the Board of Directors. Innovative ideas are needed to solve this crisis in the next Congressional term and I will advocate for working families first.
While I am a proponent of compromise in governance, I refuse to entertain any solution that does not include increasing revenue. Ohioans have worked too hard for their retirement for them to shoulder the entire burden of the fix. That’s not a compromise, it’s a capitulation to the wealthy at the expense of working families.
